Goldring Career Development Coordinator

Janet Anthony has been a member of the Syracuse University (SU) staff since 1994. As the Career Development Coordinator for the Goldring Arts Journalism Program, she works in conjunction with the Career Development Center (CDC) to provide Goldring students with individual assistance to ensure success in this unique field.

Emphasis is placed on securing successful internship opportunities for students, keeping students informed of arts journalism jobs and freelance opportunities, and providing career development training and support.

Janet was previously a Grants Specialist in the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) where she assisted SU faculty with locating funding for their research or scholarship. Before coming to SU, Janet worked for Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation (now National Grid) and as an aerobics dance instructor.
