Meghan O'Rourke

Meghan O'Rourke is the culture editor at Slate and co-poetry editor at The Paris Review; her essays and poetry have been published in The New Yorker, The New York Times, The New Republic, Poetry, and elsewhere, and her first book of poems, Halflife, was published in April. A graduate of Yale University, she holds an MFA in poetry from Warren Wilson College. She lives in Brooklyn, where she grew up
